Position Title: Project Controls Engineer
Reports to: Director of Project Controls
Position Status: Permanent – Full Time
FLSA Status: Exempt STOT
Location: Pasadena, TX (Hybrid and flexible work options after establishment period)
Work Schedule: Standard schedule is Monday through Friday.
Purpose: The Project Controls Engineer will be responsible to execute a full spectrum of project controls activities for a broad range of industrial engineering and construction projects.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Project level reporting, analysis, and data aggregation for multiple engineering and construction projects: cost reporting, cost forecasting, scheduling, progress, change management, and KPIs.
- Proficiency and use of Primavera P6 Scheduling, Excel, and Power BI.
- Development of Bid and Baseline schedules for new projects.
- Organize and facilitate internal weekly meeting reviews of project controls work products with team members and provide updates.
- Work and collaborate with the project teams and functional leadership to ensure that the timelines, progress, and cost objectives of the projects are met.
- Support internal training, workshops, and/or presentations to other departments or clients on our project controls work processes, tools, and systems.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of project controls experience in a capital projects environment.
- Prior working knowledge and planning experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software (5+ years).
- Advance working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Power BI
- Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, completeness and meeting deadlines and commitments is critical.
- Strong work ethic and analytical skills.
- Proactive and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Enjoys a fast-paced work environment.

- Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Sit for long periods of time
- Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
- Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects
Environment: Most work time is spent in an office environment.
